The Project

Kerala Spices Co. is a premium spice export brand targeting buyers in Europe, the Middle East, and North America. dhub designed a minimal, modern logo mark that signals heritage, purity, and global sophistication — built to perform at any scale, from business card to shipping container.

The Challenge

What we faced

The client needed a logo that could hold its own next to established European and American spice brands on international retail shelves, while still honoring Kerala’s rich spice-trade roots. The mark had to work in a single color (for packaging stamps and shipping marks), scale from favicon to billboard, and feel premium without being ornamental or overdesigned.

Our Solution

How we solved it

We designed a clean, geometric wordmark paired with a custom monogram built from the silhouette of a cardamom pod — simple enough to read instantly, distinctive enough to remember. The typography is a bespoke serif with subtly modern proportions, lending weight and heritage. We delivered a complete variation set — horizontal, stacked, monogram-only, and one-color versions — with full usage guidelines.
